Kinetic Machine
Anatomy of perceptual techno
Sound stops being a fixed structure and becomes an experience in motion.
Kinetic Machine opens the Kinetic Phase of Kollage Sound Collectors. Release date to be announced. Follow the label on Bandcamp to hear it first.
KSC009 — Side A / Side B
Four states of the machine
-
A1
Abstraction
All perception begins with the unknown.
A space under construction. Hypnotic rhythms and minimal textures emerge slowly, suggesting structures not yet defined. The instant before interpretation, when the mind faces the invisible.
-
A2
Perception
Reality is built through experience.
Sound layers interacting. Rhythmic displacements that change how the listener reads the movement of the groove. Structures expand and contract in a constant flow of transformation.
-
B1
Matter
Energy condenses into form.
The moment abstract structures gain weight and density. Grooves solidify and sonic space becomes rhythmic architecture. Abstraction becomes body.
-
B2
Vibration
In its most essential state, everything is vibration.
The final flow of pulses and resonances. Accumulated energy is released, expanding the listener's perceptual field. Structures dissolve back into pure movement. The cycle continues.

Three axioms of perceptual techno
-
I
Rhythm is geometry and frequency is architecture.
Releases are not isolated tracks, but living structures that evolve and interact.
-
II
The alteration of space and perception.
Reality is built in the mind. Every frequency spatially alters the listener's surroundings.
-
III
Music is a process.
It moves through distinct physical phases: formation, interference, solidification and expanding wave.
Rooted in the visual research of Latin American kinetic pioneers such as Carlos Cruz-Diez and Jesús Rafael Soto.

Creature Phase
Before the Kinetic Phase, Kollage Sound Collectors was a crew of sonic explorers led by Take Karaka, collecting the most peculiar sounds of distant galaxies aboard a spacecraft and sharing them with Earth through a mysterious interdimensional artifact.
Every release was a planet or a creature. Eight of them, from Maraconda to Imperial.
